Staff were so friendly they felt like family. They were professional and attentive to our needs completely. The hotel manager and assistant manager were at the facility all of the time and frequently met with us to chat. Love those people so much. Our "all inclusive" and "adults only" package was perfect for us because we were able to avaoid the crowds and hustle n bustle of the sister hotel Velez Vallarta which is an eight minute walk from our hotel. There, all amenities and activities were available to us free, as well as access to the Beach Club which was three minutes walk further on. If you prefer quiet afternoons, or exciting nights with a tinkle of crazy, check into the Casa Veles, and spend your time between all three included facilities. Oh, and did I mention, there is a golf course at the Casa Veles which is FREE to play, but a small charge for access and a cart ($55). And the Marina is just a few blocks away from the Veles Vallarta. Each night at the Casa Veles, there was a different theme for dinner; French; Italian; Mexican etc, (no Irish cabbage and bacon though), and the food was top shelf... One night, a cigar maker was at the hotel making fine cigars for the lads. I have been to many resorts in Mexico and one in Costa Rico, but I have never had so much good to say and praise for this trip and the Casa Veles. I will go there again in November with help of God. Nothing worse than going on a vacation to a sunny and warm place, and have to deal with noisy and arrogant people like the ones you wanteded to get away from in the first place. This resort is gorgeous. The setting is beautiful and lovingly cared for. The turtles and koi greet you when you approach the pond. The peacocks wander past you without a care. The staff are so attentive and friendly. They are what makes this resort special. The food is excellent and varied. The pool is refreshing and secluded so you feel comfortable just relaxing, and if you need anything - it's there for you. The resort is adult oriented so if you need a place to bring the kids their sister resort, Velas Vallarta, is designed for that purpose. The resort is not attached to a beach, but the Casa Velas Beach Club, which is right on the beach, provides a pool and meals. This is a wonderful place to view sunsets. The resort provides a bus to take guests between both locations, but it is also in walking distance, in a safe neighbourhood. Our room was smaller than some, but quite adequate for our needs. It was spotless and well equipped with purified water, Nespresso coffee, L'Occitane en Provence products and a walk-in spacious shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. I purchased this vacation for my daughter and son-in-law They were just blown away beautiful of the hotel was in the wonderful service the great food. They expressed they had the honeymoon and vacation of a lifetime. The staff was very cordial and helpful in anything they needed

of all the places I have stayed this is the best ,the food, the people the accommodates all were great, love the beach club ,no children, one can go over to the big hotel and enjoy the restaurants they also have very good food
