WOW! The Qunita Real was more than I ever expected. Everyone is incredibly kind and very helpful. The hotel is very nice..beds are a bit hard, but that was the only complaint. I was travelling with two friends and we had a great room with a plunge pool (which is a must). We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel grounds are lovely, with all the pretty flowers and lush green grass. The pool is incredible, and the work out facility is really nice as well...all very clean and modern. The spa was a slice of heaven on earth..had a treatment each day....! The restaurant had a great breakfast menu and a lovely Sunday Brunch. The beach club is just five minutes from the hotel and you are taken there in a cute little golf cart. You can relax, listen to the crashing waves and enjoy your favorite exotic drink...and dine on some authentic mexican dishes. It is great...we can't wait to return! Definately not the place to stay if you are going to "whoop" it up...as it is a very quiet, serene environment..

Discreet, beautiful and relaxing.We stayed at this hotel during the week of New Years, the hotel was sold out but you would never know. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The service was wonderful especially the spa staff. We never even made it to the beach club, the pool was so nice and quiet. There were two problems with the resort. One is that the rooms get a lot of hallway noise, the other is (this is very strange) there is no furniture on the terraces. There was a small plunge pool but no chairs to enjoy the balcony. Why?Overall the resort was wonderful

We just got back from the Quinta Real and we are already planning our next trip. Everything was excellent. The staff was superb, especially Bruno, Israel and THE BEST concierge, Joy. She planned a whale watching - sailing trip for us and if you have a chance, please check out the Bloodhound (ship) for yourself. She also knew all the restaurants in town and suggested more than a few good ones, in particular, Cilantro's!! We went back twice. Say hello to Oscar for us if you go! The restaurants at the hotel were unbelievable! So delicious and the wine was excellent as well. My only suggestions would be: have some coffee available for guests in the lobby earlier than 7am. There are many early risers, especially golfers, who would like a cup to start their day, maybe an urn on the veranda by the lobby would be nice. Also, chairs on the balconies/gardens. There are beautiful plunge pools, but no chairs, strange. We are usually always happy to get home, this time, we were not, thanks to all the staff, pool, food, wine, beach, michelina's, plunge pool and all the ambiance around the property

Having never been to Puerto Vallarta, I exhaustively researched and read reviews -- the Quinta Real was more than I expected. It was a wonderful place, excellent food and such a kind and courteous staff. The beach club is excellent and the marina is in walking distance (if you want they'll take you there on golf cart). The beds are very hard -- but the hotel, food, and people make up for that small drawback
