My husband and I were searching for an adults only, AI resort with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and drinks and incredible service and we definitely found all of this and more at Casa Velas. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with lovely amenities - I especially enjoyed the pillow menu and the nightly turn-down service. We spent two nights in a master suite and three nights in a suite with a lovely patio and plunge pool. Both rooms were fantastic (and very quiet!). The few times we ordered room service or needed something fixed in our room (which was just once with the tv) the staff responded very quickly and were very courteous. On the topic of service, my husband and I were blown away at the amazing level of customer service every employee provided! Everyone was friendly, helpful and attentive. The servers at our meals were especially professional and knowledgeable. Shuttle service was always quick, but the walk to the beach club only takes 10-15 minutes and the PV marina is just a bit past the beach club. I recommend a walk to the marina during the day if you're looking to stretch your legs and see some amazing boats. We used the fitness center every morning and it was just fine for a quick 30 - 45 minute workout. The machines work well and there are some free weights and a few yoga mats and blocks. I don't think it's air conditioned though, so by the afternoon the sun warms the room up and it's pretty warm. The food was so, so delicious - and I'm a very picky eater. Fresh fruits and vegetables, flavorful herbs and spices and some of the most incredible seafood we've ever eaten make up a lot of their menus. We loved the specialty menus and the tasting events at the lobby bar were a great way to try new items and socialize (only if you want to, nothing is forced!) with other guests. We enjoyed just about every moment of our five night trip and hope to return to this slice of luxurious paradise in the near future

This is the 2nd time we have been to this resort & it definitely will not be our last. From the time we arrived until the day we left, the amazing staff could not do enough for us. The rooms are nice, lots of snacks included & a well stocked mini fridge. The maid did an excellent job cleaning our room & the room service was excellent. The food is excellent & there is lots of variety. The Beach Club in my opinion is the best. Excellent service & wonderful views. Jorge was our favorite waiter. He was always friendly & smiling. He always called us by our names. We had two 80 minute massages which were heavenly. The staff at the Spa were very nice & friendly. Benny the bartender as always is such a nice guy, always has a smile on his face. Luis & Miguel are just the best. They were always asking how we were or if we needed anything. Jorge, Diego & David always greeted us with a smile & a handshake. This resort is a smaller resort with not a lot to do in the evening so if your looking for a party resort this is not the place for you. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are what makes us want to go back. They go above & beyond. Casa Velas is lucky to have such wonderful staff. The staff & service alone make this the best resort we have been to

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Velas Luxury resort for our wedding anniversary and we both loved it. The resort is exceptional and you are treated like royalty from the moment you step into lobby. At Casa Velas you can feel this relaxing, serene atmosphere right away. Upon entering the resort we were greeted with a cool refreshing drink and then were pleasantly surprised by a welcoming neck rub before check-in. We knew right away we were going to be treated well and Casa Velas did not disappoint. From the resort grounds to the amazing staff, Casa Velas earns and deserves the "Luxury" in its name. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation Casa Velas is the place to stay. The service and treatment we received was outstanding as well. On the actual day of our anniversary the manager had a beautiful dessert and a bottle of wine sent to our suite. This was a prime example of the personal touch Casa Velas provides. Casa Velas is situated on the beautiful grounds by their golf course, and we had full access to the nearby Velas Beach Club and their sister hotel The Velas Hotel for any beach time but just lounging by the Casa Velas pool was amazing. For meals there is the very elegant Emiliano's on site or you can grab a bite to eat at the Velas Beach Club or at the Velas Hotel. The food served at Emiliano's was exceptional. I can't say it enough times how amazing Casa Velas was and my wife and I are looking forward to staying here again and again

If you are looking for an upscale, quiet, adult resort with an excellent staff this property should be on your short list. The hotel offers privileges at the sister properties including the private beach and beach house. The setting is garden like with the golf course surrounding the hotel, pool, and restaurant. The food is very good and always presented stylishly. The wine list is good and the service exceptional. Oskar and Jorge at the door were top notch and went above and beyond to be of assistance including dropping us off at a local event. The pool bartender was excellent and had plenty of cool drink suggestions for the warm pool days. The lobby bartender Beny was a bundle of friendly energy and made the evenings a fun and funny experience. The front desk staff were all helpful and attentive. We were completely satisfied with the staff, location, ambiance, and the convenient location
